AptiEdge is early. We're a 9-person team — mostly former aspirants — building the structured prep platform we wish had existed when we were studying for SSC, Banking, and Defence exams. No big VC story. Just a real problem we lived through.
Why We Exist
They fail because they were working on the wrong things. Two hours of random practice every day, no way to know which topics were actually costing them marks, and no feedback loop between their daily practice and their mock test performance.
That was us. After clearing our exams on the second or third attempt — and figuring out the gap — we started building AptiEdge in early 2023. It's not finished. But it's already working for the students using it.
Aspirants practise randomly — no topic priority, no pattern analysis.
No feedback between daily practice and mock test weak areas.
Quality structured prep costs ₹30,000–₹60,000 at coaching centres.
No one tells you which 5 marks you're consistently losing — and why.
Where We Are Right Now
These numbers are small — and that's okay. We'd rather be honest about where we are than paste inflated claims on our homepage.
How It Started
Arjun cleared SSC CGL on his second attempt in 2020. After clearing, he went back through everything he'd done differently the second time — and realised the difference wasn't effort, it was structure. He started keeping a spreadsheet of which topic types he'd gotten wrong across his last 20 mocks. That spreadsheet became the first version of AptiEdge.
He showed it to a few friends in the same aspirant groups. They started using it. They asked for more features. By the time it had 200 users, Arjun had left his job and brought in two people to build it properly.
Early 2020
The Spreadsheet
After clearing SSC CGL, Arjun built a personal spreadsheet to track topic-level errors across mock tests. Started sharing it in Telegram groups for fellow aspirants.
Late 2022
First Real Build
With two engineers, the spreadsheet logic became a proper web tool. First 200 users came from SSC forums. Early feedback shaped the daily targets feature.
Mid 2023
Banking & Defence Added
SBI PO, IBPS PO, NDA, CDS, and AFCAT tracks launched after requests from the existing user base. Full mock series went live.
2024 — Now
~4,800 Aspirants, 312 Selections
Still early. Still improving every week. Building out video courses, a mentorship layer, and deeper analytics. The product is far from done — but it's working.

What We Believe
Structure over volume
10 focused questions beat 100 random ones. Every feature we build should help you practise the right things, not just more things.
Price should not be a barrier
Coaching centres are expensive. We're not. Our paid plans cost less per month than a single coaching centre study material.
Honest about what we are
We're early stage. We don't claim 50,000 users or industry awards we don't have. We'll earn those numbers — but we'll be honest until we do.
Feedback drives the roadmap
If a feature isn't working for students, we remove it. If students keep asking for something, it goes to the top of the queue. No internal politics.
Coverage
We go deep on each exam rather than covering everything shallowly. Each track has its own question bank, mock series, and subject modules built specifically for that exam's pattern.
